Can’t copy and paste in WordPress posts

    Hi,

    I have not been able to define the area, and then copy and paste in my WordPress posts. It does not respond to the mouse or the keyboard. This just happened the last 3 days. I have no problem doing the same in Word and other apps. I have cleared the browser cache, but the problem persists. Greatly appreciate it if you could advise what’s wrong.

    First, check if the issue occurs in a different browser. If the issue persists in another browser, check your website for updates (plugins, theme, and WordPress). If everything is up-to-date, temporarily disable all plugins and try copying and pasting text again. If it works, re-enable the plugins one by one to identify the problematic one.

    Hi Lina,

    Thanks for the advice. The problem was solved when I updated WordPress to the latest version.

    Before that, deactivating all the plugins, and changing the browser did not help.

    I am just puzzled why this happened so suddenly after I have been using the old version for years.

    It’s great that it’s working now. Since we don’t know what you had before the update, it’s difficult to determine the cause. You are welcome to set the topic to solved.
