Hi,
Thank you for your message.
Below are the steps to create the HubSpot API access token required for this plugin:
- Log in to your HubSpot account
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Legacy Apps (Private Apps)
- Click Create legacy app
- Enable the
content scope
- Create the app, then open the Auth tab and copy the Access Token
- Paste the copied token into the plugin settings in WordPress
Please follow the steps above to connect the plugin.
I’ll update the plugin README and settings screen to display these steps and required information clearly.
Thanks for highlighting this — much appreciated.
Thank you for making this great plugin, really!
Only one thing I can add in the list above – the app should be private, not public, when it asks you when you create the app. The public app doesn’t provide access token, only the private app provides it.
BTW, where I can find your contact for future developments? Thank you!
Thank you for your kind words — I really appreciate it.
You’re correct: the HubSpot app must be created as a Private App to obtain the access token. Public apps do not provide an access token.
I’ll update the documentation and the plugin UI to make this clear for other users.
You can reach me via the plugin support page or at [email protected] for future requests or support.
Thank you, take care, Priyank!
Hey again @priyanksukhadiya ,
Are you planing to map the blog posts tags? Currently, I can see that they are not being mapped at all – I add a tag in Hubspot, but this tag doesn’t appear in the blog post in WordPress. Thanks in advance.
Hey @zlatimuud ,
Tags mapping is now supported in v1.2.0! Update the plugin, and HubSpot tags will automatically map to WordPress tags during import.
We have also added another new feature: selective import, allowing you to import specific blogs instead of all.
Let me know if you need help!
Best,
Priyank Sukhadiya
Wow, you are GOAT! Thank you so much! 5-stars deserved!
