Can't create Backup: Internal Server error

    I just downloaded the plugin to make a clone of my site, however I’m not able to make a clone. After about 30 secs I get the following:

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    I am running WordPress 4.0 and hosting on Godaddy.
    Any help or info will be greatly appreciated.

    I have the same problem. I am a WP newbie. I downloaded and install WP Clone and activated it. It then prompted me to create backup. I complied and started that process. The result was a 500 Internal server error. I am using WP 4.0 Enfold 2.4.2 hosted with GoDaddy. Can anyone help?

    I need a way to run a test/development site next to the live site.
