@airdrummer
I followed your instructions and it worked very well with my child-theme.
If you have created and activated a child-theme the YOUR-THEME is the child-theme.
ihnfi why it isn’t working for me…i copied them everywhere
themes/camerata/ultimate-member/profile-bc.php
themes/camerata/ultimate-member/members-bc.php
themes/camerata/ultimate-member/templates/profile-bc.php
themes/camerata/ultimate-member/templates/members-bc.php
themes/camerata/ultimate-member/templates/profile/profile-bc.php
themes/camerata/ultimate-member/templates/profile/members-bc.php
and nada: all i see is default template, in um-forms and um-directories-\

@airdrummer
When searching for the camerata theme the folder found is camerata-child
Do you have a camerata-child folder?
https://themesinfo.com/camerata-child-template-wordpress-czfwm
no, camerata is the child
@airdrummer
Have you tried to edit an email template and where is the edited template saved?
https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/1335-email-templates
in themes/camerata/ultimate-member as expected
i’m about ready to write my own custom post type as I did for https://bostoncamerata.org/full-discography/

@airdrummer
Deactivate your child-theme and save your custom templates to the parent theme folder.
themes/{parent-theme}/ultimate-member/templates/profile-bc.php
themes/{parent-theme/ultimate-member/templates/members-bc.php
maybe for debugging but won’t help production
