    Hello,

I am using WP 4.7.3 with coursepress 2.0.5. Everything looks great until I try to add course units. It says unit is saved but doesn’t show in the courses nor does it preview. Have tried different fresh installs (shared server). Still the same.

I don’t mind giving out admin access. Any help will be much appreciated

    Hi @ackahforson2,

We released version 2.0.6 earlier today that comes with number of fixes and improvements, can you please update the plugin and check if the issue is still there after that?

    Cheers,
    Predrag

    Hello,
Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, the problem still persists after a fresh install of the 2.0.6 version of the plugin.

    Hello @ackahforson2,

    Hope you are doing well!

I can’t replicate the same form my end. Would you please perform a test for a conflict with a plugin/theme on your site?

Deactivate all other plugins, leave only the CoursePress activated, switch to a default WordPress theme and test if units can be saved and previewed. If everything is well, activate one plugin at a time to find the one that causes this.

Let me know how it went!

    Cheers,
    Nastia

I have retried on a fresh install on Wordpess (using mojo marketplace), default template, all plugins deactivated. Still no joy

    Hi @ackahforson2,

Even though we are still unable to replicate the issue on our end developers had a look at the code and based on the error report it looks like one of the functions is not properly returning arrays each time.

We have added this on our to-do list so devs will be looking into fixing it for next release.

Sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused.

    Best regards,
    Predrag

    Hi @ackahforson2,

Our devs made a small patch but since we’re unable to replicate the issue we would appreciate it if you can test the fix on your end.

Can you please create a backup of /wp-content/plugins/coursepress/2.0/include/coursepress/helper/class-utility.php and then replace it with patched file that you can download from here:
    Download here

Let us know how it goes with this change.

    Cheers,
    Predrag

    Dear Predrag,
I have replaced the file class-utility.php with the patch. There was no change.
I can open units section, enter data, but everything goes away after I save units and create new units. Nothing shows when I check the preview too.
I dont mind giving u dashboard access to my site to check the issue out.

    Hi @ackahforson2,

Please note that providing dashboard access is against forum rules and giving that out to third parties is not safe.

We would benefit with additional info from your site if your could create new info.php file in your root WP folder and add this code inside the file:
    <?php phpinfo(); ?>

This file will give as an overview of your PHP but it contains data that can be misused by third parties so could you send us your site URL via our contact form, that way we can access it asap to check the info so you can remove the file.

You can use this contact form:
