Since which update? WP or Customizr?
What happens if you activate Customizr, rather than the theme?
Apologies. That should say:
Since which update? WP or Customizr?
What happens if you activate Customizr, rather than the child theme?
I’m not sure – I updated both WP & Customizr around the same time. I don’t usually customize the site, so I didn’t immediately see the issue.
When I activate the Customizr theme (as opposed to Customizr child) it applies the default settings to my site (not what I want). There is also no change to the customize screen – I have the same issues as when the child theme is activated. Here is a screenshot of what happens: http://www.popfix.net/BA/Customizr-error.jpg
Any idea what might be causing this?
I suspect you have javascript switched off.
Could it be due to W3 Total Cache incompatibility? Are there any known issues with Customizr and that plugin? Or if it is a JavaScript issue, any idea which script I should be looking for (keywords)? I really appreciate the help!
There have been problems with W3 Total Cache in the recent past.
Hi,
Well I turned off W3 Total Cache and unfortunately that didn’t fix it, so I don’t think that’s it.
I definitely have javascript running, but is there a specific one i can look for that might have been impacted? Or is there a way to roll back to a previous version of the plugin?
I meant javascript in your browser (not javascript functionality in the theme). It would account for the symptoms you describe.
Hi,
No, I haven’t turned off javascript in my browser. Plus I’ve checked from multiple computers – home, work, mobile, tablet, etc. Each is having the same problem. I also tried doing a “Live Preview” of the Customizr theme and it is broken there too. I just downloaded the latest version of the theme (3.1.6), hoping that would fix it, but ran into the same problem 🙁
