• Hi,

I want to delete a sidebar that seems to be faulty. It shows up in the sidebar list, but when I try to delete it says:

“Oops! You are trying to delete a sidebar that does not exist, or cannot be deleted”

When I try to edit it says:

Nice try, partner. But that sidebar doesn’t exist. Click back and try again.

I can see the entry, but it’s unclear exactly what needs to be removed without affecting other entries. Can I contact you direct with an example or can you provide more information on this issue?

Deleting that record from the DB removes all the sidebars added with simple sidebars. There isn’t an easy way to remove just that one.

Is there a way I can contact you with the content from the ss-settings field and you could advise what to delete?

I’m reluctant to paste database content on a public forum.

No. As I said in my previous post removing just one isn’t easy nor are there easy instructions for doing it.
