Hi there, @dabbers,
For the issue with deleting subscribers, please ensure you are using an administrator account to manage subscribers. If the problem persists, try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser.
If the issue still occurs, can you please temporarily deactivate all your plugins and check if the issue gets fixed that way? If it works, then reactivate each plugin one by one to find out which one is causing problems.
As for the subscriber limit, I see a successful import happened about four hours ago. Do you still have trouble with it? If so, can you share the exact error you see at your end? You can share screenshots if that helps. You can create screenshots using something like Snipboard or Imgur and post the link here.
Let me know how you get on. Thanks!
Hi….I have tried clearing cache and a different browser. I am still seeing 95 subscribers, when it should be less. I can’t add new subscribers, and disabling plugins did not help. I had this same problem a number of months ago and it was an issue on Jetpack’s side, which someone at Jetpack then fixed for me. But now the problem has returned. Here is the limit message I see when trying to add a new subscriber: https://ibb.co/wNDddBDQ
Thanks.

Hi there, @dabbers,
I can see 95 subscribers too: 87 being email-only subscribers, and 8 being WordPress.com followers. Is there any account you think it doesn’t belong to your subscribers list?
If so, you can delete them manually from your Subscribers page… but that will bring us back to your initial problem: what error does the system show when trying to delete a subscriber?
As for the changes (ie subscriber deletion) not updating at your end, it could be a sync issue. I have pushed a full site sync job, which should hopefully fix that. Please try to delete a subscriber in 24 hours time, and let us know if the issue persists.
The limit of importing subscribers, and the related message you received on your screen, seems to be off, because you haven’t reached the 100 threshold yet. That could be caused by the sync mismatch issue I mentioned above. I have reset it for you, so you should be able to see that updated at your end.
Let us know how yo get on with these!
Hi….Thanks for looking into this. I can now delete subscribers. But when I try to add a subscriber, I still get that message that I have reached my 100 limit.
Hello @dabbers,
Thanks for following up on this. I could replicate the issue at our end, and we filed a bug report for our tech team, which has been flagged as high priority.
To help you with the subscribers import while we fix this bug, I gifted you with one month of the Jetpack Growth, which includes unlimited imports. Hope that helps!
(For internal reference, report is CML-407)
You’re welcome, @dabbers, and sorry for the trouble!
We hope to have this bug fixed before the month of your Growth plan ends. If you still have troubles with the feature after that time, don’t hesitate to contact us again 🙂
