Can’t delete slickr-gallery plugin

    I have been struggling with the slickr-gallery and am unable to get it to work properly so I decided to delete it and move on to try out another gallery plugin.

    So I FTPd into the site and tried deleting the slickr-gallery plugin. But when I attempt to do so I am given the following warning:

    “Can’t change the directory to /public_html/blogname/wp-content/plugins/slickr-gallery/slickr/flickr-cache: Permission denied”

    Uhhh…..permission? If I, the owner and admin with the highest priveledges doesn’t have permission to delete this file then who does?

    Does anyone know how I can delete this stubborn plugin?

    I got the same problem. cannot delete or chmod folders that are inside flickr-cache folder….
    it has 750 permission and i cannot change it anyhow

    anyone could help?

    i had the same problem .. i had to submit a support ticket to my webhost to delete the folder for me. troublesome!
