A while back, I turned on the debug menu. Now, despite unchecking and saving repeatedly, the debug box remains checked and debug outputs show up in various sections of the admin site.

I thought perhaps it was a caching issue but I don’t believe my wp-admin section is cached.

Also thought perhaps it was due to a DB issues but optimize/repair hasn’t made the setting stick.

Any thoughts? Is there something within mySQL I could just edit to turn off debug?

    Thanks!

You could, but the most likely cause is your webhost’s object caching, which caches database queries. So it is likely the database has already updated, but their object cache is making the plugin think it should still be in debug mode. You can likely just ignore it and check back in a few hours (or check with your webhost to see if there is a way to flush that).
