Can’t drag widgets

    I can’t move the widgets in WordPress 3.0. Nor can I get a drop-down menu from the Screen Options button. I have tried a clean install, deleting the plugins and clearing the cache, but no dice.

    I have tried this on 2 different browsers on both Windows and Macs.

    Please help. I am pulling out my hair on this one.

    Hi,

    Generally, it is due to the plugins which creates this kind of problem… You can either deactivate all plugins from database from FTP to your blog nad rename the plugins folder… Re-activate one-by-one to find culprit…or rename the Plugins directory via FTP.

    2. From wordpress admin area -> Appearance-> Widgets under Screen options, try the Enable Accessibility Mode.

    3. Delete or refresh the browser cache.

    I’m having the same issue. Running 3.0, and I’ve searched for forums for a solution. I’ve disabled all the plugins, deleted the plugins, changed the name of the plugins folder, fresh 3.0 install, nearly everything suggested.

    NOTHING seems to work. Any possible solutions?

    I had the same problems. Disabling all the plugins then adding them back one-by-one helped me find the culprit.
