    Just updated the plugin, and now I’ve lost the ability to modify or view Categories.

    I get a message that says “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

    Any ideas? I’ve deactivated other plugins to see if there might be a conflict, but I’m still getting the same error message.

    I’m fairly certain the cause of the issue have not been any of the updates… rather I suspect another plugin (even if deactivated since role capabilities are persistent) altered the role capabilities removing your access to the page.

    Try this:

    Navigate to the Connections Roles admin page.
    Select the Reset all role capabilities option and click the save button.

    Did that correct it?
