• Hi all – longtime reader and firstime poster here so bear with me. I have recently uploaded a new theme for my wife’s blog – http://www.romyraves.com. Cleary its preprogrammed and buggy but she likes the look and feel. I can’t seem to get the “search” button that’s located under the welcome blub to be show in the correct spot, and feel that the sidebar isn’t over enough either. The workaround, sloppy i know, for the search button is to add the search widget as well.

I’ve also noticed more and more instability. This has happened since I upgraded to 2.9.1 where I needed to create the mysql 5.0 and manually (yes manual as auto didnt work) cut/paste the database. I’ve got weird A’s scattered around and have trouple with server error 500 now and then. Help on any front is welcome ! Thanks !

  • That’s not your only problem. Half of your header meta data is outside of the <head></head> section – resulting in a ton of validation errors.

thanks for the update, wow, guess I need more help and input that I thought… I’ll go through it and start correcting, maybe it will help with some of the instability.

anyone know how to stabilize a WP self hosted site. Is there a utility that can help debug and resolve issues. I’m guessing instability between plug ins, and WP, and how I have it setup.
