If you do not need any functionality of this plugin, I would suggest try disabling this plugin and see what happens. Let us know.
it is already disabled. i suspect it left some garbage in the database or somewhere else. do you you of any good plugin that can verify and delete invalid entries in the database or check the entire website in dept for inconsistencies? thanks.
issue solved. you may close this topic.
Hi,
Sorry, can I ask you how did you solve the problem?
I have the same problem; I can’t get comments to work again after disabling the plugin.
I would really apreciate for info.
Thank you in advance!

a few months ago another administrator of the site disabled comments. now we need them enabled. we activated them in the dashboard and nothing. disabled all plugins, nothing. tried with a plugin than cleaned up the database, nothing. tried to modify some settings in jetpack and you guess it, nothing.
we don’t know what else to do and the client needs them enabled asap. is there a line of code we could add somewhere or something else we can do to force comments to be shown again? i’m posting this issue here because we totally runned out of ideas.
any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance!
