When I toggle on WooCommerce events for Google Analytics, the setting automatically turns off, making it impossible to enable Google Analytics.

    Hi lblma07,

    Thanks for reaching out.

The WooCommerce events toggle for Google Analytics in Pixel Cat will only work if you’ve already added and saved a Google Analytics pixel in the plugin. Could you please confirm whether you’ve done that yet? If not, try adding your Google Analytics pixel first, save it, and then attempt to toggle the WooCommerce setting again.

I just tested this on my end and it’s working fine, so it might be something local to your site that’s interfering.

    A few things to check:

    • Do you have any caching or performance optimization plugins running? If so, try clearing your site cache.
    • Try clearing your browser cache or test in a private/incognito window.
    • Have you tried a conflict check by temporarily disabling other plugins or switching to a default theme (like Twenty Twenty-Four) to see if one of them might be interfering?
    • Do you happen to have another plugin installed that also tries to add Google Analytics code? Sometimes that can cause conflicts.
    • What versions of PHP and WordPress are you currently running?

Let me know what you find and I’ll do my best to help from there!

    All the best.

Thank for your help. I will try to find a plugin conflict. Yes Google pixel code is already added.

Also, it seems like the pixel is not sending some purchase event maybe it only rely on Thank You page to count sales as event ?

    Hi again,

Yes, that’s correct – the purchase event is tracked via the Thank You page. If something prevents the user from reaching that page (for example, a custom redirect or checkout modification), the purchase event won’t fire.

Are you directing the user somewhere else?

If you have any other questions, just let us know.

    All the best.

Yes i use a funnel builder so each funnel has his own checkout step.

    Hi lblma07,

Quick update, I was able to replicate the issue with the WooCommerce events toggle not staying enabled, even after adding a Google Analytics pixel.

I’ll alert our developer about this so we can take a closer look. Thanks again for flagging it.

I’ll keep you posted if we learn anything new or have a fix to share.

    All the best.

Thank you. I will buy the PRO plan because you are very helpful despite i’m currently using the free version.

    Hi lblma07,

Thanks again for your patience while we investigated this.

Just a quick update, we released a new version of Pixel Cat today that includes a fix for the issue you reported with the WooCommerce events toggle for Google Analytics.

Once you update to the latest version 3.1.1, the toggle should now stay in the on position as expected, without resetting.

Feel free to give it a try and let us know if you run into any other issues. And thanks again for your kind words and support — we really appreciate it.

    All the best.
