We’re evaluating CM Tooltip Glossary (Free Version) before buying the Pro Version and I can’t get it to work. I’ve read the documentation, watched the video, combed through the support posts – can’t find an answer.

    We’re running:
WordPress 4.8.1 running Flatsome Child theme
    Flatsome Version: 3.3.8
    WooCommerce Version 3.1.2

The plugin seems to work great on the glossary page
    Added two terms.
    https://kmg-import.com/vapedia/
    “Atomizer” and “Mod”

Attempted to test on a blog post

“WHAT IS A 510 CONNECTOR AND WHY YOU SHOULD CARE?”
    https://kmg-import.com/what-is-a-510-connector/

    * Enabled for both Posts & Pages.
    * NO issues on the server page
    * NO errors or warning found when inspecting the post
    * Most of our plug-ins are WooCommerce

Is there a known list of plug-in conflicts or incompatibilities?
    Where else should I look?

    Thank you in advance.

It is hard to tell without accessing your site to see what is preventing the post from processing the glossary. Please do the following
    1) Deactivate other plugin to check if one of them might be causing this
    2) are you using a regular post or is this a custom one?
    3) Are you using a page builder?

I have a similar issue—the tooltips display on the index glossary page but not on a post.

I see in the code for the post content that the class “glossaryLink” is not being generated, nor is the content for the tooltip in there.

I do want to know if I am inserting the link to the term correctly:
I just use the link option and select a glossary term post from the list of posts.

Here’s an example of a page post where the tooltip does NOT display for the first term (“nominal HIV-positive diagnostic test”) but, as I’ve inserted the code manually, it does disaply the second term (“administratively lost-to-follow-up”).

Please follow the suggestion above + try also to replace you theme to see what is causing this. it is probably a conflict with your theme or plugin. If you are using a builder this is not supported in the free version
