    Hello,

I am trying to massively import a csv file from Google My Business containing location information (Name, address, phone, etc …).

Until now, I have not succeded to make a complete import. When I try to import the file entirely, nothing is displayed in the download window. However, when I import a column only, in this case It works. But it only works for certain columns: For example, I can import the column containing the names of cities, postal codes or telephone numbers. On the other hand, for columns containing names and addresses, it does not work. I find it weird that it works for some columns and not others.

I tried a lot of things to format and validate my CSV: I validated it on CSV Lint, switch to UTF-8, be careful that the accents go well (by the way, I don’t think that it’s an accent problem because the one I imported had accented characters).

Would you have a solution for me?
    Thanking you in advance,

    Emmanuel.

  • Hi Emmanuel,

    Sorry for the late reply.

Make sure you do not have extra space at the end of the field values during the import. If you have any unnecessary comma separators, remove it and try the import.

If you need more technical help, Please contact our support team through support[at]smackcoders[dot]com, they will guide you in the right way to overcome the issue.

    Thanks.
