Can't install a plugin without folder on CHMOD 777

    Hey guys..

    I’m having a problem not being able to install a plugin on my wordpress website without having the plugin folder having the chmod 777.

    If I turn it on 755 I get the following message

    Downloading install package from http://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/wp-super-cache.1.2.zip…

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

    Could not create directory. /home/sandexs1/domains/iscs.nl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/

    Any suggestions?
