Can’t install – Error

When trying to activate the plugin, I get the following ERROR:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/sites/new-nexusdialogues.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/arlo-training-and-event-management-system/includes/functions.php on line 11

Sorry for the late reply.
That happens because you have an older version of PHP, the plugin requires at least PHP 5.4.
Please look at our documentation that accompanies the Arlo WordPress plugin http://developer.arlo.co/doc/wordpress/installation.
Please update your PHP version and try to install it again.
