    Hello,

I just activated the plugin, which redirect me to the plugin’s settings page on which there is only on “Connect facebook page” button. I click on it, I’m redirected to facebook, on which I allow the plugin to manage my page, then I’m back to the settings page but there is nothing else I can do.
There is this big banner saying: “Uh oh. Your WP-Chatbot setup is incomplete!” with a “Complete setup” button, which does nothing except opening the plugin’s settings page, from where I can’t still do anything.
    Please help.

    Cheers

Well, I just tried again, I apparently had to give full access on my facebook to the plugin, and not only to manage my pages…
Well, now, the chat widget doesn’t work. Note that I tried to install the official facebook messenger plugin, which worked yesterday, and for now reason the widget was gone today, so I deactivated and removed it and then, installed WP-chatbot. Don’t know if it can be related.

    Thanks for your help

This plugin seems to be very random. I didn’t change anything, and now the widget show up. The issue now is that the greeting message is always displayed, even if I change the option on the settings to “Fade” or “Hide”. I’ll wait again an hour, maybe the change will magically happen.
Not sure to keep that plugin, seems unstable to me. Too bad :/

    Hi, @anikirachid
In order chat plugin to working you should grant all permissions that initially requested, but you already fixed that.
The greeting dialog can be hidden or fade, but pay attention that browser caching may affect it. So when switching options on/off, either use Incognito mode or clear browser cache.

Also, you mentioned Facebook plugin, please make sure that its script was removed completely because it may interfere with our script since we using Facebook SDK.
Better double check developer console if there any warnings/errors.
And if you have any issue, please provide some details:
    – what is your website
    – what is the Facebook page linked to that website

    Let me know your results
