  • I was going to suggest http://www.xxx.com/wp-login.php?action=logout

You wrote that you reset password through MySQL, did you check if all your posts still in database then? Are your websites still showing correct frontpages and/or posts? You did not just upgrade, add any new plugin, choose new theme, etc.? Just need more info..

    Thank you for writing back.

Yes, my site is running and all database files are intact.

I’ve activated google sitemap plugin today, deleting it from server to see the result.

I’ve also got php.ini file restored to default because I was getting memory allocation error while saving new posts.

It doesn’t seem be a plugin / database issue because I’m facing same problem at two sites:

    http://dearcinema.com

    http://blog.bikasmishra.com

they’ve different databases. while dearcinema files are located in the root directory, blog.bikasmishra is in a sub directory.

Do you think php.ini could be an issue?

    Got it resolved.
Deleted php.ini and restored the default one.
Thanks a ton for replying, it helped me think of a reason.

    Best,

Glad I was able to help in a small way 🙂
