I get this message after entering my user name/password. I even requested to change my password and entered the new one and I still get this error: Authentication Failed, You have entered an incorrect reCAPTCHA value. There is no reCAPTCHA window popup to enter anything into. This has been a problem ongoing for a long time so I’ve been logging into my WP Admin using Manage WP but now I need to get my connection key to use that because an installed plug-in disabled my site. I was able to get my host to disable that plug-in but I need to fix this log-in issue. Do I need to have my host fix this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

What is the name of the plugin with the problem?

The plugin that caused the site to shut down was a FaceBook sharing plugin but that has been disabled and is not the issue. The issue of not being able to login to my WP Admin has been going on for months but I was able to get into my WP Admin using ManageWP which is a subscription that lets you manage different sites. Now, I can’t even login that way as I need an authentication code that I can only get by accessing my WP Admin and this reCAPTCHA error message is driving me nuts because I have no idea why it shows up. There is no reCAPTCHA field to enter the characters into. I have a screenshot of this error message so I wish I could upload that to show the problem.

You need to go to the support for the specific reCAPTCHA plugin that is causing the problem.

I asked for its name so I can give you the link.

Since I can’t login, I really can’t remember which reCAPTCHA plugin I have activated. I guess I’ll have to ask my host to disable that plugin and see if that fixes the problem.
    Thanks.

It was Google reCAPTCHA that was preventing my login so my host, SiteGround, disabled it and now I can log in just fine.
    Thanks.

Excellent, I recommend reporting the issue at https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/google-captcha/ so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.
