Can't login using WordPress official Android plugin

    I can’t seem to login using the official WordPress plugin for Android for a self-hosted site unless I disable this plugin first.

    I have not moved the login page, it’s still /wp-admin and I’ve tried removing the login captcha and honeypot from the login page but that didn’t make any difference. When I enable the plugin and the htaccess rules again that WordPress plugin is blocked again for some reason, is there any way to use that plugin together or do I have to remove this plugin for good?

    have you enabled the “pingback protection” firewall rule? If so then that might be blocking the android connection.

    Thanks, that was it, it needed the WP XML-RPC functionality.

    I also meant to say the WordPress app for Android, not WordPress plugin.
