I guess a very large dataset (with 4.2 million views, 32800 posts & almost 1200 categories). On version 2.07; when I hit migrate it will try for a couple of minutes and then give the internal server error 500, upon refresh the migrate button appears again.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @noseknowsnonotes,

It looks like your server is indeed timing out upon the data migration. We can remedy this by running the migration from WP CLI, which usually has no time limit since the request is coming from a trusted source (instead of a generic HTTP request to your site).

If you have access to WP CLI, the command to run is wp koko-analytics migrate_post_stats_to_v2

The alternative is clicking the migrate button multiple times. Despite timing out, the plugin should be making progress each time until it eventually finishes.

Let me know if that doesn’t help please.

    Hi @noseknowsnonotes,

We’ve made several improvements since I previously replied. Does the issue persist if you try again with the latest plugin version?
