can’t modified search button

Hi all,
I am designing the search button of my blog http://xiawa.my right now,
I want to use this pictureto replace the default button, and i found that i can’t modified it at all.

do you guys know where is the problem? I wan to make search box and button in 1 line, too.

hope somebody good at css will tell me ya, thks first ^^
