I can move from uploads to any subfolder. But I cannot move back to uploads. I can drag and drop, but nothing will happen.

Yes, I’m getting the same result. It seems to have something to do with the folder tree as the parent node of the tree has all the proper classes and javascript for processing the dropped file but it is not triggering. I don’t know why it is not working.

Strange – do you think, you will find a solution?

We are looking into it. I will get back to you.

Will this be fixed ? Even when you update the plugin, its automatically desactivated by wordpress, I had to re activate it manually

Normally during the update process, WordPress will deactivate the plugin and reactivate it when it is done updating. I have not seen an instance when the plugin did not reactivate.

As for moving files to the uploads folder, you can go to this page, https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/media-library-plus/advanced/ and scroll down to the bottom where you can select the previous version, 7.1.2, to download. I’ve tested it and was able to move a file to the uploads folder. If I dropped the file over the top portion of the folder name, it did not work. But it did work when I lowered the position of the mouse pointer.

I got moving files to the uploads folder to work by lowering the position of the folder tree. I’m not sure why this works since there is not any HTML element covering this portion of the tree. We have now release version 8.0.1 of the plugin.
