I have run into a conflict with the Asset CleanUp plugin.

Since all the Elementor JS loads every time a page loads, I am using the Asset Cleanup plugin to remove the unneeded JS from my pages in order to speed things up.

As an unintended consequence, I found when Asset CleanUp is set for a page, I can’t open Elementor to edit the page. I’ve got to deactivate the Elementor-related Asset Cleanup settings, make my edits, and then re-set everything. It’s a hassle, and raises the risk of making a mistake.

    Is there a work-around?

  • You’ll need to get in touch with Asset Cleanup developers to have them fix whatever code they use that is breaking Elementor. Elementor has no control over their code. Their developers can reach out to Elementor’s developers on Github at https://github.com/elementor/elementor/ if they need help in solving this.

@cavalierlife @mitteldo H, guys! I’m the Lead Developer of Asset CleanUp and I will make sure that any incompatibility with Elementor plugin will be fixed as soon as possible.

Can you let me know which version of Elementor are you using (either Free or Pro)? The more information you provide me, the faster this will be fixed. In my tests, everything was fine using both Free and Pro versions of Elementor.
