Can’t reactivate the plugin

Hey, I’ve deactivated the W3 Total Cache plugin for a while in the plugin list (to be sure that isn’t responsible for some weird styling on my web) and now when trying to activate it, it says that the plugin was activated but actually it is still inactive. I can repeat it again with the same result. Any ideas? Thanks a lot
