Hello! Thanks for using Ninja Forms. Did you go to the backend to the form plugin admin page then click on a particular form. Once you are there, did you click on the “Email & Actions” tab to configure where form submissions should go?
yes, i did configure all that, and on the submissions tab i can see all the email that i tried to send as test, but i can’t get them on the email client end
I see. I’d like to ask one further question. Did you set up one action for sending an email to the admin and one action for sending an email to the user who submitted the form?
yes, i did both, when sending an email using the form, i get the user confirmation email, but i get no e-mails for the admin
I see. By any chance, are you using a yahoo email address for the admin email address?
no, is an office 365 e-mail account, that uses Microsoft Exchange
Ah I see. I’ve had a similar issue. In that case, I would suggest you to use the free Mandrill plugin and set up a free account at Mandrill’s website. This way all email submissions will be going through Mandrill’s servers that will succeed 99.9999% of the time. Then you need to copy and paste the API key that you are given into the Mandrill plugin.
in order for the plugin to work is asking me for this plugin: mandrill plugin which is $40
duuuude, i fixed it!, well, i called support at godaddy really, and they gave me the missing link, i just had to change the MX Entry settings from “Local Mail Exchanger” to “Remote Mail Exchanger” now it works like a charm!
No no. The plugin I spoke about is absolutely free.
Nonetheless, I am glad your MX record was corrected and all is well now! π
