    Good day,

After upgrading to WordPress version 5.7.5 I cant remove the default author, on a post.

Ive updated the plugin from version 3.3.0 to version 3.12.0 respectively, but I’m getting the same results.

if I add another author, I can remove them but the default author who created the post

    Hi @lebogangs

    Thanks for using PublishPress Authors.

All those versions are a long way out-of-date.

Can you reproduce this on WordPress 6.0 and version 3.16.3 of our plugin?

I tested the same steps on your video with version 3.30.0 and cannot replicate this issue. Does this issue happens when you deactivate all plugins except PublishPress Authors?

Hi, i did. one thing, i also tested saving the post then try and remove the authors, that helped. no errors in the console as well like before. one other thing is when i test with a wordpress installation without, many users i dont have this problem. does the free version support a limited number of users? the installation im testing on has more than 1k users (guest authors included)

One other question, sorry, does the plugin support MLP https://multilingualpress.org/

We dont limit the number of users both on free or pro version. If it only happens on high number of users, the limit might coming from your server it self. You can try to confirm with them.

While for MLP, we haven’t built anything specific for it.

Thanks for your response, i found that the plugin was not compatible with the theme we are using. upgraded the theme and all works as it should.
