On the settings page is a brand new setting for showing the history “in the admin bar”.

This is defaulted to “on” in the latest release. I UNcheck it to turn it off, and click save. I get a message that Settings were saved, but the it’s still checked. I can NOT turn off “in the admin bar”. It’s happening across all of my sites. Multiple plugin sets, multiple hosting companies.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thanks for the bug report @anphira.

So the checkbox in the settings page is always checked, after saving, even if you uncheck it and then save the settings page?

For me changing the setting works, both on my local sites and on all production sites where I use that.

Is there any plugin that your different sites have in common, like a caching plugin or something? Also, could you tell me the version of WordPress and version of PHP that you have, so I can check this on that specific combination.

Hi, same problem here. I’m on latest WordPress and PHP 8.2.

    Hello,

First, thank you for this great plugin 🙂

I have the same issue! The latest WP. Cache plugin is OFF. No problem with other checkboxes such as  “as a page under the dashboard menu”.

    Best regards

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I found the issue – this used to be an “experimental feature” and somewhere I did a check to only save the values if the “Enable experimental features” checkbox was checked. Sorry for the trouble, a new version is on it’s way up now.

Thank you very much for your prompt action 🙂
