I had previously inserted an image in my post which appeared in the corresponding circle on my homepage. I’ve changed my mind and removed that picture from the post, but it’s still there. I’ve even tried to delete all text and create it again, but nothing happens. Note that there is no featured image selected for that post. Is there a way of removing the image from the circle so that only text will show?

    thanks

  • Hi carlosapin

You have to delete your image in order to don’t show it anymore.
Go to Media > Library, find your image and click on “Delete Permanently”

But if this image is used elsewhere? Actually I use it on another page… That’s the problem!

The thing to do in this case is to create another post and duplicate your content.

The first solution is better if you have already comments on your post and if you use the image only once, or a few more, elsewhere.

I’ll try and solve the problem either way.
It would be great if only we could handle these settings from the customize panel.

Can you link to a page showing the issue?

It’s a website I’m creating for a friend, and since it’s not ready yet she asked me to keep it private. I ended up solving the problem changing the design originally programmed and adding a featured image to the post.
