  • If they are still active and you deactivated the plugin, then you have caching enabled somewhere. The plugin does not add permanent redirects (i.e., permalink or htaccess), so turning it off turns off the redirects.

    If you clear your cache they will go away.

    Thank you Don. Browser cache, correct?

    It can be the browser cache and also the physical site cache too, if you have anything that caches the site data.

    Some themes and plugins offer caching (like WordFence for example) when you can have caching for the site/pages.

    Most of the time, however, clearing your browser cache will clear the redirect for you that your browser has stored.

    I had this redirect issue but it also caused all of my other sites in this network to show a 403 error that I can’t get rid of.
