    I have been working on renewing my WordPress premium account all day and it all results in not being able to sign in with a verification code. I did have to download Authenticator again (new phone). I then tried the 2 step verification and that’s where it all started…

    When clicking to renew in the email I received I am routed to my sign-in for my WordPress page. I have set this up to automatically fill with username and password. I can sign in, however, after signing in I go to enter the verification code and each time it tells me it’s invalid.

    I may have set the Authenticator to an incorrect account, however, I would assume it should be my WordPress account name – silencingyournoise.wordpress.com

    How can I set up a new verification code so I can renew my account. I’m getting nervous because my account expires today. Yikes

    Matthew – If you are referring to my blog site then yes I do have a WordPress.com website. This all seems to wrap around not being able to get an authenticator code to access my account. I just need to know how to set it up correctly.

    Pioneer – I’ve been the route of support. Sharing emails with them and waiting for the next step.

    It’s a very common mistake that WordPress.COM and ww.wp.xz.cn are the same place, but they are very different:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    No one here has any control over anything that happens at .com so there is nothing that we can do. When it’s a problem on their side you have to use their support.
