Can't Reset Default Layout Changes

    I would like to change my default page layout from a right side-bar to a left side-bar (narrow layout). Under Appearance>Theme Options>Default Layout Options I am selecting the LEFT SIDE-BAR radio button, selecting the checkbox to RESET LAYOUT and then saving all changes. The layout does not reset.
