    In regards to https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/cant-save-or-export-templates/

I am using Mailpoet for years, and never ever saving or exporting templates was working. Deactivated all plugins, tried different and latest WP and Plugin versions. Still no success.

Developer console outputs no errors or warnings.
Looking in the network console, saving triggers and ajax request:

    action”mailpoet”
    api_version”v1
    endpoint”newsletters”
    method”showPreview”

Why method is “showPreview” when saving a template?

I understand you are not able to save or export the email templates even after doing the conflict test.

I’m not a developer who can answer you about why there is showPreview but I will be happy to assist you with your export problem.

Can you please send us the following information to investigate this further:

    • A screenshot of the MailPoet > Help > System Status page. Please ensure to capture the whole page or make several screenshots.
    • Copy and paste the information from MailPoet > Help > System Info.

    Hi there,

I wanted to check if the problem still exists? If yes, I’m assuming you want to re-install WordPress and MailPoet plugin to see if that help fix the export template problem.

We have a guide here to help you understand the best method to uninstall and re-install WordPress core. Once done, you can simply download the MailPoet plugin from https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/mailpoet/ and upload it to Plugins > Add New, you will get a notice to overwrite plugin which you can do so.

Make sure to take a full backup of the site or create a duplicate staging site to test this. If your host doesn’t have staging site option, you can use plugin like WP Staging to create one. Let us know how that goes.

I was able to find the issue: it does not work in my Firefox Browser, even it’s the latest version. But it works in private mode in Firefox and other Browsers. So must be a browser plugin or something.

Anyway, I can work around now. thanks & sorry for bothering
