same here…this is very important because I’m taking a site live today…was working fine until I moved to a different domain name…
The answer is in this post.
Google decided to make browser API keys required for new users since the 22th. So get a browser key here, set it on the WPSL settings page and then make the code change at the bottom of the link I posted above.
I will release an update for this either tomorrow or on Monday. I’m not home at the moment.

btw: where can i rename “store locator” in the breadcrumbs to something like “places”, because its for a golfcourse-directory.
is it possible to enable the authors name and add a comment/rating-system?

First off I’m not a new user…been using since April…still does not work for me…what do I need to do since it will not allow me to enter my starting point…
@ed This is fixed with the 2.2.3 update ( assuming you also set the browser key ). Do flush the browser cache on the settings page. You can also set the start location through the shortcode.
@jf1980 If you want to change the used words, then you have to create a new translation and save it in the /wp-content/languages/wp-store-locator folder.
