When I create a new table, the arrows at the tops of the columns for sorting don’t appear. I’ve disabled all plugins and run in Incognito and there are no errors when I inspect the page.

When I watch tutorials with people creating new tables using TablePress, the sorting arrows appear by default. The checkbox to enable sorting (further down the page) is definitely checked.

    Any help much appreciated 🙂

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

What you are seeing in the videos is the old editing interface of TablePress. As of TablePress 2.0, these icons are indeed not visible by default, but the functionality is still there: You can double-click on the header row (the columns letters A, B, C, etc.) to sort the column.

I’m currently looking into ways to make this more visible again (for technical reasons, adding back the icons is not that easy).

    Regards,
    Tobias
