    We have a form in the footer and it is getting hammered with spam even with the recaptcha on. Thankfully it is not adding them to the email list but we are getting a ton of emails.

    We turned off admin notifications but we are still getting this email

    `*Note: You have disabled admin email notifications under the plugin settings, but are receiving this email because of the following reason.

    Your Constant Contact Forms plugin has captured new information.
    Submitted to Constant Contact: NO (User did not select the Email Opt-in checkbox)
    You can disable this under Form options. Email Opt-in isn’t required to add subscribers into your account`

      How do I stop these emails from being sent?

    What is the point of turning off admin emails if I am still going to get these?

    Good day,

    Why/how the spam is getting through is my bigger question, to be honest, and it’s mot something I expect you to have an answer for as well.

    The reason why we email in these cases is because in the past we had cases where the list additions failed, and we didn’t not have any other captured details, causing lost signups for the users. Thus we decided to email regardless of settings used in normal “working” times, so that the site owner at least got an email version that they could manually add to their appropriate list.

    I’m really curious how the spam may be getting considered valid enough to enable to submit button, as we do all we can to guard things.

    You can take a look at it. https://njaasc.org/ it is in the footer. I have the captcha turned all the way up in settings, I don’t understand how they are getting through either. I don’t have this problem on other forms on our site. What information do you need from me.

    I understand what you are saying about pushing the emails through too, but it would be really nice to have like a “I understand by selecting this option I may not capture all subscribers.” We have legitimate ones that are being added to the list.

    Just submitted to that form as “Constant Contact Forum Support” can you confirm the following:

    1. An entry in the chosen list got added for my intended user
    2. How many notifications you got for this one entry?

    One small thing I noticed is that the successful message sent messaging showed really quick and then the page refreshed and when I went back down to the form, it listed reCAPTCHA failed message. May not be anything, but it was unique and not common for me to see.
