I’ve been testing the plug-in login options. After trying the email confirmation I switch back to admin approval (I’d really like both but that’s another issue) but when I create a test user it still sends “Please click on this verification link” email and the users admin menu still shows the “Verify” option rather than “Approve”.

Thank you for the detailed information. Please make sure that you have chosen the User Login option to “Admin Approval After Registration” in your individual form setting too. For more help, please refer to this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/ugil8n

I had a similar problem and was glad to find this answer. It worked. Thanks.

I think that a setting having no effect unless it is set in more than one place qualifies as a “bug” in need of fixing.
