Is there a way to switch off sharing without deactivating the whole of Jetpack?

I have all the boxes in the settings unmarked, but the option is still always checked on a new post page. And when I publish a post, the sharing bar appears, with four items on it that I didn’t include (FB, Twitter, Upon and Digg).

How can I stop sharing completely, site-wide?

There are 2 ways to remove Jetpack sharing buttons from your site:

    • You could go to Settings > Sharing in your dashboard, and drag the sharing buttons from the Enabled or Hidden services area back to the Available services, thus removing all buttons from the site.
    • You could go to the Jetpack menu and deactivate the Sharing module, as explained here.

    I hope this helps.

Thanks. You’ll forgive me for saying that’s a really dumb place to hide the deactivation button. 🙂

Incidentally, there were no options in my “Enabled” or “Hidden” areas. They were ALL in “Available” and I still got four buttons, as I said. That’s why I was looking for an off switch.
