Can't Update Database after 3.10.0 install

Gold Cart version: 2.9.9
Theme: Storefront Boutique

I did this: Updated WPeCommerce to 3.10.0

I expected WPeCommerce to do this: Work properly after the update

Instead it did this: I am prompted to update the database but when I do, I get a message that says: You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page. I have deactivated all plugins except WPeCommerce plugins to try and run the update. I have activated the 2015 theme as well. Any other thoughts?
