Hello, I believe this will have been fixed in 7.0.5, please try and let us know if not!
I am having the same issue…there is a pencil that I have to click to edit the reoccurring events, but…clicking on it doesn’t make anything editable.
Even weirder is that I get this message:
“You have successfully updated to Events Manager 6.1.2” where as the package says “Version 7.1.7 | By Pixelite“
Sooooo…something seems weird.

Same issue here when creating Repeating Events on version 7.2.1
Your event details are incorrect and recurrences cannot be created, please correct these errors first:
Main recurrence set times are required.
Good Afternoon,
Exactly the same issue we are having on one of our client’s sites. Latest version 7.2.1 is installed. We have tested this with and without the pro version installed.
When we try and save a new repeating event or any event for that matter we get the following issues:
Your event details are incorrect and recurrences cannot be created, please correct these errors first:
Dates must have correct formatting. Please use the date picker provided.
Since the event is recurring, you must specify an event end date greater than the start date.
Main recurrence set dates are required.
Main recurrence set times are required.
We also notice that the End date that is set does not save correctly and on page refresh, duplicates the start date that was entered.
I’m not getting any error logs or anything else but it’s made the software completely unusable and my client is unable to add or adjust any events.
If this could be looked into as a matter of priority that would be appreciated.

Hello, this should now be fixed in 7.2.2, can you confirm?
I’m on version 7.2.2.1 and still having this issue. The fields for the recurring details are just not shown on the edit event page, so I just can not enter recurrance details for events.
Hi @mg2005
Do you have EM_GUTENBERG set to true in your wp-config.php. If so, this is a known problem that the recurrence details don’t show up when editing an event with the block editor enabled.
Hi @joneiseman, thank you for the reply and the possible solution, I checked the config-file and there ist no EM_GUTENBERG entry. Should I try and add it as false?
