    Hi,

I have a problem with this plugin. When I edit a page, from the administration menu, and I click on “Update”, I get an 403 error page:

    Forbidden

You don’t have permission to access this resource.

But if I deactivate the plugin and flush the cache, everything works normally. It should be noted that I configured the plugin, in particular the redirections of sensitive pages. All other WordPress features seem to work fine.

Is there a parameter to change?

    I use:

    • theme : photome
    • activated plugin : Advanced editor tool, Contact form 7, LiteSpeed cache, Meks Easy photo feed widget, Photo Me theme custom post type, Slider revolution and WP hide & security enhancer of course

    Thanks for your help

    Hi,
Do you see the 403 error only when Updating the WP Hide plugin options?
Do you use the free or the PRO plugin version?

    Thanks

I see the 403 error only when i click on the update button (to save the modification) in editor page, not on the options page of the plugin.

And i use the free version of the plugin.

    Hi,
Something on the server side is not allowing a specific rewrite, as probably using a firewall. Try to remove the admin dashboard URL customization, as most probably this is what causing the problem for you.
If still not working, see if the WP Hide > Rewrite > JSON service is still active.

    Thanks

Indeed, if I remove the personalization of the administration URL, it works. But that removes the point of using this plugin.
For the JSON, I did a test, but that didn’t solve anything.
My site is hosted by Planet Hoster, but I doubt I can touch the firewall on the server side.

    Hi,
Looks like is the server they won’t allow the dashboard url customisation. Check with their support if a way to change that, as there is nothing we can do from this side.

    Thanks
