Try to use the re-install function on the updates page of the wp-admin. If that works then run the update again and see if you still get the error. If you do then there is a permissions issue on your server with the files and directories and you need to refer to this article.

Davood – sorry, where do I see the re-install function on the updates page? I see two button options – Update Now and Download 4.5.1
I have also just tried updating a plugin and get this message:
