Can't update WordPress

    Hi there!
    I’m helping a client to fix some issues with his websites but I have a problem that I can’t sort out.

    When I try to update WordPress to the last version, the website crashes and will display only a blank screen.

    I tried to upload an older version, to disable all plugins, change theme, to hide or change the .htaccess file….but always the same problem.

    can anyone help me?! this is really frustrating and it happens for all his websites (28 websites cloned starting from one)

    Hi @zeroduedesign,

    My first thought so on this would be to go and check the server logs. More than likely you are going to get more than enough information from them as to why the issues are happening.

    My second thought is that if all his WP instances are doing the same thing, it may be something with the hosting environment and with that I would say that you should contact the hosting support for more guidance.

    My personal opinion would be to check error logs first before doing anything else.
