Can’t update wordpress

    I need to update wordpress because I can’t upload the font and I can’t make a back-up (can’t even install plugins)

    I have the FTP-logins but when i try to run it it says

    “Could not create directory.
    Installation failed”

    How can i do this update?

    Hi @poesket,

    It might be permission issue. You can give 0755 to all files and folders through ftp.

    Another way to update, You can replace all files and folders after taking backup.
    Exclude: wp-content, wp-config.php. You will have new WordPress in the website.
