Can't upgrade….

Hello,

I am redoing a website for my employer that was created in 2010.
colvillesmiles.com
It has an old version of wordpress. 2.9.2

When I try to upgrade automatically, nothing ever happens.

I tried to manually update, meaning I deactivated the plugins, downloaded the new version, over-writed the old files, and then when I went to colvillesmiles.com/wp-admin/upgrade.php but it says there is nothing to do, that all my files are updated. I then reactivated my plug ins and still no update. It’s still has the prompt at the top of every page to upgrade.

I need this site updated by Friday.

Please help!!
