    Hi,
I use patch-lite theme within a child theme and would like to use my own css file, but if everything seems alright with the other child files (not quite sure, but the footer.php is working for instance), I can’t use my child css, the child theme using the parent css. I’m forced to use the appearance > custom css (which is bad).

    Can someone help me please?

    Thank You !

  • Hey,

Could you please share the site URL, when the Child theme is activated, so I can have a look? If you don’t want to make it public here, you can reach me out via email to [email protected]

    Thank you,

    Hey,

I’m sorry for the big delayed response, it seems I missed your reply here. My bad.

I checked our Child Theme for Patch and it worked. Maybe there’s something wrong with the Child Theme you are trying to use.

You can use our own Child theme — download it from here and make sure you change the Template in style.css from patch to patch-lite

Give it a try and let me know how it went.

    Thank you,

    Hey, @foiedeloutre.

I was wondering if you had the chance to check the Child Theme I sent in my previous reply. Did it work for you?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Thanks,

Hi, Thanks for your help your files helped, it works now. I didn’t have access to these files, I missed the css function.

    Thanks again!
