    Just installed WP blog (theme “Stargazer”, btw). First day I was able to use button “customization” and made few changes in theme’s outlook. It was okay…Second day (today) every click on the same customization button from WP panel, transfered me to customization page, but with message “your session is expired” and request to login again?

    Every attempt to login again was unsuccessful with a ridiculous, threatening message from WP: “You will not move away from this page.”(!!??)

    QUESTION(S):

    1) Why second login, if I am already logged in at WP Dashboard?

    2) Why I CAN’T login, when WP asks me to do so?

    3) Why this ridiculous, threatening message tone? I would like to ask WP ppl to re-formulate this message into more polite, user-friendly and acceptable. We’re not children.

  • Sounds like something isn’t right with your site. Try clearing your browser cache and cookies, and try another browser. If that doesn’t work, try deactivating ALL plugins to see if that makes any difference. If not, leave them off and switch to a default theme (twentyfifteen) to see if the problem persists.

    Hi, sorry if I sounded harsh, thank you MOD for prompt answer I really appreciate it, and please accept my appologies for tone. I was frustrated, sorry.

    Unfortunately, the same thing continues to happen. I was using IE 11, then switched to Firefox, cleared everything that could clear (have 3 very good maintenance/cleaning softwares + anti malware and anti virus who all work perfectly).

    What I have noticed recently is following:

    – I can get Preview and customization page without second login request ONLY for Templates that ARE NOT already installed.

    – Already installed Templates are giving me again second login request(with no preview), BUT I am able to make customization and even save it (earlier, I would get a message “Cheating, uh”). Now there’s no “cheating” message.

    Perhaps this slight positive change is due to switching to Firefox, (not sure) but second login still continue to pop-up.

    I found my way around, among other tricks by using templates with their own customization panel, so I will mark this topic as “resolved” even it is not entirely.

    Thank you.
